One of my favourite things about winter has to be curling up inside in the warm with a mug of hot choclate (see the beuatiful cup I had at the seaside a couple of weeks ago)
Coincidently I was talking to my friend the other day and she said "wouldn't it be amazing if Nutella (other hazelnut spreads are available) made a hot chocolate?". So I thought I could definately make that.
All I did was warm a mug of milk in the microwave for 2 minutes, add a spoonful of nutella and stir in.
This was quick and simple to make but made a nice nutty chocolatey hot chocloate that was really creamy.
This really made me want to try new recipes so if you have any please let me know.

So in complete contrast to the last post I thought I would share a trip to the seaside that I made a couple of weeks ago. I love the seaside - it's calming and peaceful (especially in the winter when their aren't many people around). However when I was asked if I wanted to go I thought - "In January?!".
However, the weather was actually much better than you can see in the photos and we had a nice walk around the town and along the front. Then finished on the pier where we indulged ourselves with chips, icecream and hot chocolate.
This is my favourite photo of the day. It was taken from the pier looking inland and you can just see Southwold's lighthouse on the right. I love the light on the water and it has really inspired me to take more photos.

Hi everyone and welcome to my first blog post. As you can see it's a cold and snowy day where I am, so I'm snuggled up in the warm with some hot elderflower cordial and lots of layers. So what better for me to spend my time than creating a blog with all the things I love to do.
I have wanted to create a blog for a while but I decided to stop procrastinating and finally get on with it. The photo above is from walking the dog this morning. I just love how beautiful the snow is. A brisk walk was refreshing, but I was glad to make it back inside. I never use my camera enough so I'm hoping this blog will inspire me to record some more of my daily life as well as being more creative.
Thanks for reading and any advice would be very much appreciated. xx
